Home Stretch

Monday morning of my last day of work and I am getting overwhelmed with anxiousness. All the months of preparation are coming to fruition (in different ways) and time is moving way to fast. In a little over seven days I will be getting off a plane on the opposite side of the world where the temperature is in the 70s and the ocean is right next door. Incredible. I am going to miss everyone and everything...except snow, which Milwaukee has way too much of. Also, for anyone who doesn't know, Perth is 15 hours ahead of Milwaukee time. So this way when the bars are closing in the Midwest (2 am) it will be 5pm and time to have a few beers!!

Patrick-anything that stretches "the self" in a positive direction is worth doing and will bring your great joy and memories that you will own forever. You will make a difference wherever this takes you.
Remember your family and friends are with you every step of the way on this grand adventure.
Now get on with it mate!

Patrick-hopefully you are sitting in a pub somewhere in Perth contemplating your great adventure. I'm glad we all had a chance to say good bye and bon voyage one last time. Keep us posted; you know we'll look forward to hearing from you.
